Festival Fun Day

Festival Family Fun Day 

8th July from 12pm - 5pm at Streatham Green

Come along to the Festival Fun Day and listen to Sing Out Streatham choir, young people performing music from the arts charity Raw Material, the musical stylings of a local Glee Club and get down and dance to the beats of local young DJs with Grooveschool. Fitness First will be there to lead some fitness sessions too!

Local schools will also be showcasing their talents with performances, including a homemade Orchestra from Telferscot.


Grooveschool will be playing throughout the event, between other performances and will have an extended set towards the end of the Festival Fun Day. Grooveschool is a not for profit organisation that run projects focussed towards nurturing young people's engagement, creativity and invention. The main activity they provide is DJ and Music Technology workshops for all ages and abilities.


Sing Out Streatham

Sing Out Streatham, a vibrant and inclusive local choir will be singing at the family fun day. We are so pleased to welcome them to the family fun day!


South London Glee Club

We will be treated to the musical stylings of a South London Glee Club from Glee Club UK.  From the Pitch Perfect films to Pitch Battle on BBC1 Glee Clubs are so popular and encourage people to get together to make music and song with their voices and spread good feeling to all that hear them!


Fitness First Streatham

The health and fitness experts from Fitness First Streatham will be coming along to run some fitness demonstrations for the crowd at the Fun Day. It would be great to see everyone join in!


Raw Material

We are thrilled to have a band of young people from Raw Material to play at the fun day. Raw Material's mission is to improve the lives of young people and their economic position, their opportunities, progression and development, including mental and physical health issues. they provide a range of training, mentoring and professional arts projects to develop creative talent, learn music and media skills, build confidence in a working environment and find routes into employment.

Local schools will be showcasing their talents on the day too; including Telferscot Primary School who will be playing on a homemade orchestra!
