St Leonard's Open Church and children's workshops

Picture of St Leonard's Church Streatham

Streatham's historic parish church of St Leonard is opening its doors for the Streatham Festival.

Come and discover over a thousand years of history with tours of the crypt, belfry, church and churchyard. Enjoy cream teas and homemade cakes, and bring your children aged 4-plus to 'Noah's Ark' craft and music workshops from 2.30-3.15pm or 3.30-4.15pm, or a drop-in activity charting St Leonard's timeline over the centuries.

The workshops and tours are free with donations invited for St Leonard's redevelopment fund. We are fundraising to repair the roof and modernise the toilets and kitchen so that the church can continue to serve the people of Streatham with its wide range of community activities including mental health support, concerts, youth group and an older people's club.
