Women and War: EXODUS - Festival Opening Gala

The festival will open with an all-star performance of Hurried Steps, a hard hitting, powerful text by award-winning Italian writer, Dacia Maraini. It will be the first event of the festival at the historic Streatham Hill Theatre.

To start the evening, Madhav Sharma will read Your Voice by Mark Ravenhill, who wrote the acclaimed Shopping And F*cking. ​

Outside The Manor Arms pub, SW16 6LQ

Come along to the Festival Fun Day and listen to Sing Out Streatham choir, young people performing music from the arts charity Raw Material, the musical stylings of a local Glee Club and get down and dance to the beats of local young DJs with Grooveschool. Fitness First will be there to lead some fitness sessions too!
